Besides the main pool, which is 10m x 6m with an even depth of 1.2m (almost 4ft), there is a small, shallow splash pool hidden away on one of the upper terraces. For the active there is a badminton/volleyball court, bocce ball court, croquet ‘lawn’, mini-golf course, 3 bicycles, an exercise/yoga platform that faces the rising sun, dart board, even a punching bag hanging from an olive tree. Villa Marianna also has a good selection of CDs, DVDs, board and card games and books. For relaxing there are shady hammocks on the hilltop with amazing views, and under a giant olive tree steamer chairs and a card table. For those with culinary interests there is wood-fired pizza oven on its own terrace and BBQs on the House, Villa and trullo terraces. And if there is a nip in the air the trullo terrace has a stone, open-air fire-pit.
